In 1940 , Noah Calhoun and Allie Nelson , two teenagers from North Carolina who , despite living in two very different social environments , fell deeply in love and spent an unforgettable summer together before being separated , first by their parents , and more late in the war , although both remain alive in their hearts the memory of the other.When Noah returns years after the war, Allie is irrevocably gone from his life but not his heart. Although Noah ignores him , Allie has returned to Seabrook , where they fell in love . But is committed to Lon , a wealthy soldier she met while doing volunteer work in a military hospital.Decades later, a man reading an old , faded notebook to a woman who regularly visit the nursing home . Although their memories have faded, he loves the emotional story of Allie and Noah and for a moment can relive the passionate and turbulent era in which they swore to spend the rest of their lives together .

 Filming began on November 7, 2002 in South Carolina with a budget of $ 30 million and lasted until February 2003 with producer Mark Johnson, Aaron Zigman as author of the instrumental songs, artistic direction Scott T.
